How to change aspect ratio of visible mobile phone screen?

A mobile phone display is a hardware thing that could not be changed through software or settings. But the visible screen on which we see content on our android phone can be changed by software or settings.\r\n\r\nLet me explain it more deeply. Let's take A4 size paper on which we could do anything, but think that you have to make a painting on it. Then you have multiple choices whether you can make a painting on the whole paper or you can also choose some part of it as the center only, or the sides, or anywhere in the page to make a drawing.\r\n\r\nThe same thing applies on the smartphone display. What these options (Developer options) will do?

\r\nWe are going to use some developer options as well as some basic settings that may available to any android phone. These settings will change the aspect ratio of your mobile phone viewable display. What they actually do is that, they narrow the screen (viewable) of your android phone. These don't affect the width of the screen so that you can get a change in the aspect ratio. Notch Hide Option

\r\nNowadays many smartphones comes with a notch display (any type of notch). Now you may know that there is a setting on android through which we can remove the notch of the display not by physically but with a software we can hide the notch to show and make a black edge on the display of the mobile phone which hides the notch. This will reduce the height of the viewable display so that the screen looks more vertical while the width remains the same.\r\n \r\nTo apply this setting :\r\n\r\n1 - First go to Display Options in the settings of your phone.\r\n\r\n2 - And search for the notch option, click it.\r\n\r\n3 - Now click on Hide Notch option.\r\n\r\n4 - Now there may be many options inside the Hide Notch option depending on your mobile brand.\r\n\r\n5 - Select the hide and move status bar option.\r\n

Through display cutout

\r\nDisplay cutout is one of the options that we can find under the developer options, with display cutout we can change the position of the icons like battery indicator, time etc on the notification panel. Also icons like navigation buttons (back, home, and recent). Display cutout consists of some options which can change the positions of the buttons differently like they made the icons a little bit above from the original position or a little bit down from the default one.\r\n\r\nThese basic settings are available to fit the screen icons and to adjust the size of the viewable screen according to different mobile phone's display.\r\n\r\n1 - Enable the Developer Option on your phone ( How to enable Developer Option on any phone ).\r\n\r\n2 - Go to Developer Option.\r\n\r\n3 - Search for the display cutout in the developer options.\r\n\r\n4 - Click the display cutout option and you see 3-4-5 options in it.\r\n\r\n5 - Select the Double Cutout option.\r\n\r\n6 - Exit the Developer Options.\r\n\r\nAfter applying above settings you will see some changes on your screen which indicates that you have done it right. But the overall process won't get a cut here, some more steps you have to follow. And also the aspect ratio of your phone doesn't change.
