Popular game Garena Free Fire banned by Indian Government. Indian Government banned 54 Chinese applications and games including one of the most popular battle royales game Free Fire. The news was circulating about the ban few days back, now it is officially confirmed and removed from the Google Play Store.

Free Fire Ban
It was first noticed that the application are pushing out login errors on 12 Feb, and then continue with the removal of the apps and game included in the list from the Play Store and Apple App Store, however, there is no official confirmation for the players from the developers of the games.
MeitY banned these apps under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, which states that the government has the “Power to issue directions for interception or monitoring or decryption of any information through any computer resource.” This is usually when the government is “satisfied that it is necessary or expedient to do in the interest of the sovereignty or integrity of India, defence of India, security of the State, friendly relations with foreign States or public order or for preventing incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence relating to above or for investigation of any offence.”
