The main highlight of the Nothing Phone 1 is its Glyph Interface on the back which makes it easy to differentiate from other smartphones. Well, if you want to always turn on the Glyph lighting on the Nothing Phone 1 then here is the guide to do so, thanks to AndroWide (YT) for discovering this.
Glyph Interface
Glyph lighting on the Nothing Phone’s back contains about 900 LEDs, which blow together in a diffused manner giving the phone the coolest back ever. The Glyph interface has 4 segments of LEDs combined in different shapes which works together for notification and ringtones. Users can also make them glow while listening to a song while using a camera, and so on. But if the user wants to use them as a flashlight or wants to turn them always then below is the step-by-step guide for that.
How to Turn on Glyph Light in Nothing Phone For Always
- Download and install the activity launcher app on your phone from the play store.
- Now open the activity launcher and find the “led light test” option (alphabetically).
- Then tap on it, and then tap on ‘.MainActivity’.
- Now it will show a similar interface as the below image. The first bar is for the brightness of the Glyph interface and the rests four are to turn on and off the segments.
This way you can control which led combination to turn on and off on your Nothing Phone, and this way you can always turn on the Glyph Lighting.
Hi.. how do i disable it.. my normal glyph ringtones and notification are not showing after using it .. please help me find a way out how to disable this feature
