These shadows may fit good at some Nova Launcher setup. But for some they may feel outdated or old. Well fortunately you can disable them from the Nova launcher settings.
How to disable shadow in Nova Launcher
To disable shadow from Homescreen or any other screens use this method.
Head over to Nova Launcher settings.
Now go to the Homescreen option.
Now scroll all the way down, there you will see advanced option open it and disable the show shadow option there.
